Can’t make it but still want to learn about resources for new students?

CLUBS
Meet some people. If you’re looking for a community of other students interested in launching their own ideas, projects, and businesses, check out a club like the ones listed at cpsse.psu.edu/organizations-and-clubs.

CLASSES, MAJORS, AND MINORS
Learn from real entrepreneurs. There are a number of great classes to explore! The two introductory classes are MGMT 215 and ENGR 310. You can take those classes no matter what you’re studying and as early as your first year at Penn State. Explore majors and minors at cpsse.psu.edu/majors-and-minors.

PROGRAMS
Get some coaching. If you have an idea for a business already, you might want to take it to the next level outside of the classroom with programs like the FastTrack Accelerator, Idea TestLab, Media Commons, or Summer Founders.

COMPETITIONS AND MICROGRANT
Win some money. If you have a business or idea and want to try to get some funding, there are a number of competitions you can compete in, like Ag Springboard, Gameday Ventures, and Nittany AI Challenge. Also check out the Lion LaunchPad Microgrant.
