Pitch competition to feature five student entrepreneur startup teams

The Nittany Entrepreneur Society and Corporate Innovation and Entrepreneurship Society will host their biggest pitch competition of the year from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17.
Summer Founders Program awards six student startups each with $15,000

Six Penn State student startups have been selected into the 2024 Invent Penn State Summer Founders Program. The Summer Founders Program provides teams with at least one Penn State student founder a $15,000 grant to work on their startup, social good, or nonprofit idea over the summer at Happy Valley LaunchBox powered by PNC Bank.

Student startup Saveware won $15,000, the largest prize amount, in the 2024 Invent Penn State Inc.U Competition. Kicking off Penn State Startup Week powered by PNC, six Penn State student teams pitched their startup to a panel of judges and competed for up to $30,000 in funding.
