Invent Penn State offers students $15,000 to work on startup over the summer

Entrepreneurial teams with at least one Penn State student can apply to receive a $15,000 grant to work on their startup, social good or nonprofit over the summer through Invent Penn State’s Summer Founders Program. Two virtual information sessions will be held, Jan. 17 and Feb. 21, for individuals considering participation to learn more about the program, the application process and summer life in Happy Valley.
Student startups invited to apply for 2024 Inc.U competition by Jan. 19

Penn State student startup teams from all Penn State campuses are invited to apply to the 2024 Invent Penn State Inc.U Competition for a chance to compete for a $30,000 prize pool. Applications are open from now until Jan. 19.
Veteran launches haircare startup with support from Hazleton LaunchBox

Charlee Murdock, a veteran, Hazleton area community member, and single mother of three, launched Project Headway LLC, offering low-cost haircuts to people in need. Hazleton LaunchBox supported by Pasco L. Schiavo, Esq. has played a large role in the growth of Murdock's startup.
